About Us
We are a new all Canadian company located near Peterborough Ontario. We started in Feburary 2025.
We are passionate about slow, intentional living, hygge and making every day a little more cozy. We are a small company but enjoy a challenge! If you have a large upcoming event and would like to add a touch of hygge, send us an email!
Our Candles
Our candles are made of 100% stearin wax. Stearin is a product derived from animal or vegetable fats and oils. It is a natural, non toxic wax that doesn't release harmful chemicals when burned. It's a hard wax with a high melting point, which makes our candles burn longer and brighter. It's hardness also helps prevent the candle from dripping and reduces the formation of soot, making it a cleaner burning option.
Our Dyes
The dyes we use are from Canadian companies. Some of our more vibrant colours such as our neon colours, are created using mica pigment. Mica is a naturally occuring mineral. Mica's unique structure gives it a natural shimmery and reflective appearance. We also use Eco REACH dyes which are both REACH and GHS compliant. This ensures that substances are assessed and registered to ensure they are safe for use. Our dyes are made with a natural solvent ( a solvent that is derived from naturally occurring sources like plants, animals, or minerals)
